As part of a short video project for class, I wrote, shot, and edited this short commercial that parodies the "Calm App" commercials on television.

For my first Video Production project, I was a camera operator, getting my first taste of hands on experience within a studio.

For a documentary pitch project, I wanted to capture how students struggle to find affordable housing near campus by interviewing a student who lives in a van. I shot the majority of and edited this short teaser together, to give my audience a visual sense of my idea, capture their attention, and leave them wanting more.

For my final Video Production project, I took on the role as technical director, becoming very familiar with the video switcher and how the control room operates.

I wanted to challenge myself within my video production class. As producer, I coordinated every aspect of our project, and as difficult as it was, I fell in love with the process and would like to explore career opportunities within this position in the future.

During this production in my Video Production class, I tried my hand at floor direction. It was a challenging position, but a wonderful experience that interests me as a career in the future.
